Art history course for high school students. A week surrounded by the beauty of the masterpieces of the Biblioteca and Pinacoteca Ambrosiana.

The Schola Aestiva of Art History opens the doors of the Ambrosiana to a group of students who have completed the fourth year of High School. The lessons take place form June 10 to 14. The course aims at introducing students to the masterpieces of the Biblioteca and of the Pinacoteca. The methodological approach will be both theoretical and practical: the students will study the works and will be actively encouraged to enter the fascinating and complex world of iconographic interpretation. At the end, they will receive a certificate of participation. The classes are taught by Msgr. dr. Alberto Rocca, Director of the Pinacoteca. Entries must be submitted by the teachers of the interested students by May 13.

On the occasion of the 570th year of Leonardo da Vinci's birth, The Visi was born on the ethereum blockchain. The collection (pfp) is the result of a long study and dialogue with collectors, artists and art experts.




From April 26, open Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 17.00. Reservation required.




The exhibition features twenty oil works by Carlo Mattioli, one of the Italian masters of twentieth century art, which interact with Caravaggio's Basket of Fruit
