The Academic Founders of the Classe di Slavistica (2009)

The first ten years of the Classe di Slavistica of the Accademia Ambrosiana:
Life, research and outlook

Since its foundation, ten years ago, the Classe di Slavistica of the Accademia Ambrosiana has been proposing itself as a place for the growth of knowledge, of research and of scholarly connections in Italy and abroad, due to its peculiar and rich placement within the Biblioteca Ambrosiana.

In the 1150 anniversary of the death of Constantine Cyril a first balance can be drafted, rooted into the very beginning of Slav civilization, facing the growth of cultural Institutions in Europe as well as in Milan, aiming at keeping a brisk pace to face the requests of present times.
