The exhibition compares graphical representation methods of two geniuses of the past, through the reproduction of the masterpiece by Guido da Vigevano Anathomia designata per figuras (1345) and Leonardo da Vinci’s revolutionary anatomical visualization by means of a selection from his numerous anatomical drawings.
For Spring 2020 the Class of Latin and Greek studies organizes a cycle of three conferences entitled Intorno a un Codice. In each lecture, a scholar will present a particularly valuable Ambrosian codex, illustrating its features.
