DON FERRANTE'S BOOKS IN THE BIBLIOTECA AMBROSIANA
An exhibition that aims at reconstructing the "considerable collection of books” belonging to Don Ferrante, which Alessandro Manzoni describes in the Promessi Sposi (The Bethroted).
Linked to the tradition of Letture di Nuovi Classici of the Ambrosiana, since 2014 a new series of meetings entitled Intorno a un testo has been promoted by the Class of Greek and Latin Studies.
Also in January and February 2019, three scholars will read and interpret a text by an important author of Greek and Latin classicism and the Middle Ages, presenting it with a series of reflections that are aimed at both specialists and interested citizens.
