BIBLIOTECHE, LIBRI E IMMAGINI MANZIONIANE

On May 8 and 9 the Dies Academicus of the Class of Italian Studies of the Accademia Ambrosiana will take place.

The tile – Biblioteche, libri e immagini manzoniane – on the one hand, wants to investigate new or little-known aspects of Manzoni’s work, while on the other it could also suggest new research directions.
The inaugural lecture – on the evening of Wednesday 8 – will be entrusted to Angelo Stella, an internationally renowned Manzoni scholar and President of Casa Manzoni, who will become our Academic along with Professors Pierantonio Frare, of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and Massimo Miglio, of the Istituto Storico Italiano per il Medio Evo.
