We inform the kind users of the reading room are advised that the Library will be accessible in September according to the following methods and times:
1. The Reading Room will be open from 9.00 to 13.00, on the days established by the Library’s staff according to the reservations received.
2. To be admitted, it is necessary to book by email prenotazione.biblioteca@ambrosiana.it no later than August 21, 2020. In order to guarantee the necessary social distancing required by current legislation, a maximum of ten scholars will be admitted simultaneously.
3. The reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of a positive response via email. Replies will be sent to applicants on August 26, 2020. A copy of the confirmation email must be brought with you when accessing the Library: this email will also contain the safety rules that visitors must observe for access and permanence in the Library.
4. During this period, this procedure must be followed also for the volumes that are normally available for free consultation.
From 27 July to 31 August 2020 the Reading Room will be closed as usual for summer holidays.
From April 15, on the occasion of Design Week, the rooms of the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana will host 'Moleskine Detour', an international exhibition promoted by Moleskine and the Moleskine Foundation.
From 19 to 23 April, on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile, the Ambrosiana will host the exhibition "Nice To See You" by Gaetano Pesce.
