HAPPY EASTER!

We inform our kind visitors that during the upcoming festivities the opening hours of the Biblioteca and of the Pinacoteca will be the following:

BIBLIOTECA
The reading room will be closed from April 19 to 26 included.

PINACOTECA
The museum will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 21, and it will be open on Easter Monday, April 22.
On the remaining days the usual opening hours will be observed, from 10.00 to 18.00, from Tuesday to Sunday.

For those wishing to visit the museum during the festivities, we advise you not to miss the restored Preliminary Cartoon for the School of Athens by Raphael and the exhibition “The Secrets of the Codex Atlanticus, Leonardo at the Ambrosiana”.

The exhibition presents a selection of volumes that trace the history of medical studies from the beginning of the millennium to the time when Leonardo da Vinci was active, together with seven sheets of the Atlantic Code of anatomical subject.
