CONGREGATION OF CONSERVATORS

The Congregation of Conservators is composed of seven members, clergy or lay, appointed by the Archbishop of Milan.
The Congregation’s term ends with the approval of the Financial Statement for the fifth fiscal year. In the event of the replacement of one or more conservators, the newly appointed members’ terms expire with the end of the Congregation’s term. Members of the Congregation of Conservators may be reappointed.
The Congregation of Conservators is responsible, pursuant to the Code of Canon Law, for the ordinary and extraordinary administration of the activities and assets of the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana.
